Seeing a lot of Kaepernick talk still..My view…I don’t think its so much as a blackballing by the entire league..but Im sure its some teams that are…Kaepernick wasn’t playing before the protests…he had already been benched and thats with a hefty contract..I think if he was playing well and one of the top qbs in the league it would be some teams that said fxk it and bring him in…but with all the backlash they would get from a lot of the fans who were offended by his actions..They don’t feel like its worth the headache. It’s wack but its reality..And race probably has 98% to do with why said people are offended..
The whole situation is wack tho..he’s was not that bad of a qb to not be in one of these camps..but in some eyes not good enough for the flack you’ll probably catch for signing him when he would probably be a back up anyway…Bears definitely should have signed him before mark sanchez tho..lol but anyway I think the problem is more society than it is the NFL. We still got a long way to go and its evident. This shouldn’t even be an issue in the first place…from the reason why Kap had to take a stance…to the point of how people were so offended with the stance…They should be more offended at the reasons why he took the stance..and when you hear that 3rd verse of the national anthem..nobody should be offended if a black person or anybody else did not feel warm, fuzzy and patriotic when you hear the song…Make a new anthem..I was actually a lil upset that more of the players didn’t follow suit..if more players would have joined we probably wouldn’t have to be having this talk…It would also be nice to see somebody put him on the roster just to support the cause..
